Acts are managed by their purposes; act is to be a great one if it has a great purpose (A. Chekhov)
It is quite natural to a person to long for obtaining and extending knowledge in one's occupation. They have a calling to serve God and people. This is a motivation for 160 ministers - students of non-resident program, who have chosen UETS for their education. On June 7-18, seminary welcomed representatives from various regions of Ukraine, Russia, Belorussia, Uzbekistan and Tadzhikistan. First-year students took a course of Old Testament and Church History (lecturer - Oleg Bornovolokov), second and third-year students studied Ministry Principles (lecturer - Rev. Philip Savochka), Christ and Salvation (lecturer - Anatoliy Denisenko), The Man, Sin and Angels (lecturer - Petro Kovaliv). Graduates studied Pastoral Theology (lecturer - Rev. Sergey Flyugrant) and The Church and Society course (lecturer - Fyodor Raychynets).
UETS' session is not only about educational process, new knowledge and practical skills but also about experience exchange, fellowship, new friends, contacts and opportunities for collaboration development.
On July, 10 UETS staff, students and guests gathered in Chapel for worshipping God, listening to God's Word, sharing life and ministry news and celebrating forth-year students to whom this session is the last one.
On July, 11 graduates had a cup of tee with UETS' Rector - Anatole V. Glukhovski, non-residential program dean - Petro M. Kovaliv and non-residential program lecturers. That was a time of fellowship, discussion of further UETS' programs and ministries development, and UETS collaboration with local churches, where graduates have their ministries.
