On April 1-12, 2019, UETS held its regular spring session for modular students.
This time, our bachelor students of theology had a chance to take several different courses such as Introduction to Counselling, Epistle to the Romans, History of the Evangelical Movement, Survey of the Old Testament, and Survey of the New Testament. Students in our master’s programs, in their turn, took courses in Spiritual Formation, Ministry in the midst of Globalization and Urbanization, and the Leadership and Life of the Urban Minister.
When part-time students arrive at UETS campus, they make the atmosphere here special. In contrast to our generally younger resident students, bursting with energy and still seeking their calling, part-time students are usually mature ministers that can share their experiences of running successful ministries in different parts of Eastern Europe and Central Asia.
Students from Ukraine, Russia, Belarus and Central Asian countries such as Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, and Uzbekistan make use of the opportunity to contribute to many interesting discussions and an exchange of opinions and visions.
The UETS faculty and staff are privileged to be a tool in God’s hands for promoting His kingdom by training indigenous church leaders, pastors, missionaries, etc. Also, we appreciate our partners who make this possible by praying for the seminary and supporting it financially.
