Word from UETS President
UETS President, Ivan RusynDear brothers and sisters,
Welcome to Ukrainian Evangelical Theological Seminary!
Today, more than ever, the Church and society need competent ministers, able to lay a spiritual foundation for their development. In the aftermath of the onging war in Donbas, Eastern Ukraine, and the annexation of Crimea, Ukraine has experienced challenges related to IDPs, orphans and combat veterans, and has had to deal with unprecedented psychological trauma, as well as family and economic difficulties. These factors are resonating in the minds of Ukrainians and will be for some time to come.
At the same time, all of these challenges that Ukrainian Christians face open the door to unique ministry opportunities, particularly church planting and missions, transforming modern cities and towns, providing help to the vulnerable, expanding God’s kingdom in the whole world, and forming a Christian worldview among Ukrainians, which is sure to influence both the spiritual and the material welfare of our nation.
Apart from strengthening churches in Ukraine, our seminary provides relevant theological training to ministers from Central Asian countries such as Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan.
Therefore, I invite you to join us in our mission of strengthening the Church and transforming society.
