New Church Teams Arrive for Social Ministry Workshop

In November, six new teams from churches across Ukraine arrived at UETS to work on social initiatives, which they will later implement in their communities. This month, they’ve had their first week of the intensive training program, during which they formed a vision, mission, and values for their social ministries. They also deeply explored the needs, aspirations, and beliefs of the people they want to serve and created strategies for implementing their project.

In December 2023, the teams will come to the UETS campus again for their second intensive training module. In the meantime, each team will be working on further developing their unique social ministry projects with the help of their UETS mentors. At the end of their second intensive training, the teams will present their initiatives, and the best projects will be awarded small grants, which they will use to turn their initiatives into life.

Overall, 17 church teams have already had a chance to develop their social initiatives with the help of the Social Ministry Workshop and turn them into life, manifesting God’s glory and making His love known to thousands of people in communities across Ukraine.
